"Weekly Classics" Changed and Posted
Hello folks,
The Weekly Classics has been renamed to Elessar's Greatest Hits to inflate my ego -- just kidding . It has been renamed, but I just thought since I was going to be picking the "Hits" (for now) that it would be unfair and slightly pretentious to call them "Classics" since they're really just my opinions of classics. I also put up the first list, three at a time seems like a good idea -- since many of these are quite long, they may even stay up longer than a week.
I invite anyone who recalls the details of these stories well enough to discuss them at length to start up discussion threads, I have to re-read the longer ones, but they are damn good!
Hopefully you all will enjoy them as I have
So long,
John

Re: "Weekly Classics" Changed and Posted
I've made some adjustments and tweaks to Elysium (minor corrections and the like) since it went up at HoT ... the fixed version is at my website (and at fanfiction.net), but I'm wondering if I should submit the revised version to TriSilk...
Thanks for adding me to the "Classics" though!

I add my voice to yours.
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.
But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Re: "Weekly Classics" Changed and Posted
Two more "Elessar's Classics" have been posted. Selected by . . . *yikes* ME!
No, no, wait!
One is "The Rainbow's Foot," by Shouldknowbetter, which is universally hailed as a classic.
The other is T'Leela's "And Having Writ . . . " a wonderfully tragic, yet hopeful finale fix.
In "The Rainbow's Foot," an older, previously married T'Pol (mother of one) is desperate to get back together with her ex-boyfriend, now a single dad. And FOR ONCE Trip has the upper hand. Notable for a Trip and T'Pol date at Chuck E. Cheese (or the 22nd century equivalent)!
In "And Having Writ . . ." Trip survives his burns in the episode that shall not be named. Poor, wonderful, brave Trip! He's such a trooper! And T'Pol is so loyal. This is a finale fix that makes a lot of sense.

Great choices!
(Even if personally I prefer the first one.)

"And Having Writ..." is one of my favorites, so I'm glad to see it here. It's one of those fics that is as good the fourth time you read it as the first.

I'm glad you people agree. Oh I get it Asso that's "me" (the Lady in "Lady's Choices"). Luckily I look exactly like that, so no photoshopping necessary.

Where have I been that this is the first time I have read "Having Writ'??
Makes me wonder what other "treasures" I have missed.

I made a mistake. It is the second piece. Correctly, for precision's sake.
I am very fussy.
Ah... and, yes. You are right, justTripn.

Shouldknow Better's The Rainbows Foot - one of my all time faves. How I wish she was still writing.
T'Leela's "And Having Writ" is wonderful, and certainly a classic. I am more fond of her "The Gift" though.

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?
