We do it because the tits are big and the bat'leths are sharp and the ships are fast!"

I can't believe I'm actually considering this...
It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

Yeah, if only I'd somehow win the lottery too.

This should be fun: I've never been to a Star Trek convention... I've just been hearing about them for the past dozen years or so
I just couldn't say no again to those big calf eyes, quivering lips, and little whimpers of ""please... PLEASE!!! I've never gone anywhere..."

I note that the people who are going are settled in a little more. It'll be our turn yet!TPoptarts wrote:why does the universe hate me so much

It's doe eyes. Doe. Not calf. Yeesh.
And I might remind you T'Poptarts that the last time *I* got to go to any convention you were, like, four. So y'know. The universe hates me as much as it hates you. But yesterday, while its back was turned, I bought the tickets online and it was too late! Bwhahahahahahaaaa! Take that universe!
Found some old con pix:
I call this series
"The Progression of a Sickness"
Here we have sweet little Jennifer, in Feb '94 at her very first Star Trek Convention. My Dad got me the tix as a bday pres, and tho' I am clad in a ST tshirt, I don't really consider myself, y'know, "a trekkie". Cause that's for freaks. (Note Janet-Jackson-Like Suede Poorboy Cap).
Free autographs, as there was no internet and thus no ebay and thus no way to easily cash in bigtime on a bit of scribbling on a photograph. (dad's taking the pic here).
Forward to May 1994. The month of evil, during which TNG met its fateful end. I was devastated. In only three short months I have somehow acquired a tailored uniform, a communicator, and a self-applied Bajoran nose. *gasp* What has happened?
By 1995, the spirit gum had eroded my grip on reality: I had shed the pitiful rank of Ensign Junior Grade, had gotten myself a much more professional latex piece for the Bajorplasty and with the help of some flowing fabric covering a gallon icecream bucket upturned on my wee, deluded head, I remade myself as a Kai. Self-styled religious leader. Age 15.
That was around 13 years ago and it's only gone downhill from there.
Strangely, my house isn't filled with Trek. It's more of a cellular peptide thing.
With mint frosting.

She's called me worse
At any rate: if I were hitting even remotely close to home I'd keep my big mouth shut... but I mean come-on... this girl's going to FEDCON as T'Pol... and she'll pull it off to!
So i say her eyes looked big and bovine... and I'm stickin' to it
And I think I look dashing as the Monkey King

She's gonna try to do T'Pol, huh? Tell her to start the crunches now if her costume's MU. And the low carb eating. I was so hungry by the time I made it to Vulkon I think I gained 5 pounds just from what I ate the afternoon after the costume contest. Oh, the freedom to fill my poor belly!
