I had to snicker when I read that last chapter. Trip was so funny.

I am so looking forward what is going to happen when they return to Earth (and perhaps visit T'Pol's mother at Vulcan?)

I'll be looking forward to seeing T'Pol's medical situation resolved, too - not to mention seeing what a great team these two make as they sort out the Xindi, take on Soong and the augments, and give the Romulans what-for.

I really enjoy where Rigel is taking his Divergent Path story. There have been so many times where I thought he had written himself into a box and he has surprised me with a creative twist. An example of this is in the spoiler along with another creative twist.

SPOILER!!!:

I thought he would need to get TnT back to the expanse in time to rejoin the crew for E2 to produce Lorien. I couldn't see Soval surviving to their meeting as Old T'Pol. Having Soval contract Benjamin Button disease was a pretty cool solution.

I also thought the way he brought the future Romulan from the season 1 temporal cold war back to replace the Xindi Guardians/Sphere Builders was pretty creative.

From a longer term point of view, assuming the Enterprise does prevent the attack on Earth, does the timeline reset? If so, do the new characters from E2 disappear? Does the Enterprise revert back to its pre-expanse status (while TnT continue on their adventures?)

I could see this going on for years depending upon Rigel's endurance and muse.

For those of you who like the whole T&T pairing, I heartily recommend the Divergent Path series by Rigel Kent. I really liked chapters 117 and 118, which together form a very AU version of Home.

Agreed - I'm dismayed to read how close we are to the end of the series. There have been several long pauses in this story and I've been following it for so long that it feels like an old friend - the thought that it could soon be over is very sad.

I know that Rigel has indicated that he thought the story might end at around 120 chapters. While this might be the case, he has a lot of material to address, if he chooses to. I find it hard to imagine him addressing the memories T'Pol recalled and/or her father in 2 or 3 chapters, let alone reunite the timelines (something Daniels in his story mentioned).

As a reader, I am extremely grateful for Rigel's efforts.
