Images Needed! "The Bridge" Banner

All photo-imaging experts and aspiring Jedi-like talented photoshop monkies, perk up!

We need a banner to feature the new General Enterprise fanfiction area, The Bridge.

The image should be 600x150 pixels, featuring General Enterprise imagery, including if possible multiple crewmen, the Enterprise itself, the Bridge itself, etc.

I would also like the same font used in the other banners (which you might have to ask Kenshin about) reading "The Bridge".

I like that bridge shot. We could go with that if someone can clip it in a way that makes me go "OoOOoooOo" so that it's about 600x200 like the others. Can it be done and keep all their heads in the shot? We don't need to see Archer's manCrotch in the Captain's chair, so just keep the face maybe? Idk. Might not work.

Well, here's a cropped version of 600x150, like the others. Unfortunately it does scalps Phlox and Reed a bit.



As for the font, I have some on my computer called "FederationDS9Title" that I got somewhere that would work.

I've got a crapload of Trek fonts if anyone wants some, including all the title fonts. I'm pretty sure ENT used what's labeled as "Federation2" on my list.

If you scroll down this page you can download the Final Frontier font, which I believe is the same one used in the other banners. It would look something like this:

Unfortunately this is 600 x 200 pixels and I'm not at all confident in how it would look down to 150...
Personally, I don't care for the picture all that much. :shrug:

It'll do for now. Have to confess I don't like the backlighting in that photo, let alone the tough tv star poses, and you really have to at least get Archer's shoulders in there or it looks muy bizarre.

I believe ShouldKnowBetter in a story once described Trip as always looking arrogant and hostile in official photographs. If you call the official Paramount publicity shots 'official photographs,' she nailed it. Of course, they almost all have the same macho glare. I often wonder how the photographers got that looks out of them -- was it by annoying them with publicity crap when they'd rather go home, or by yelling, "Okay, ready, look tough!"

I like the font JzK used, it's almost (or maybe IS) a perfect match. It just needs to be a little smaller (the font).

Ideally, yeah, we want something that's 600x150 to match the others. We're still not at 20 submissions so you all have time to go back the drawing boards and try to WHIP SOMETHING UP for me

Hey, CX, don't you work with Chrisis1033 on Foundations and the book covers? Any chance you could like, be like hey man, take 5 seconds and make us a sweet ass banner with your m4d1337 h4x0r skills?

chrisis made me a few things for Foundations and he did some book covers for Rigil, but he doesn't have much time to do anything now. And I'm no graphic artist.
