Alelou is right, if you don't add someone's story or the author itself to the alert list, you won't receive any notification (they don't work to me for some time, but that's maybe just me.) But if you're interested (and don't mind to suffer three chapters without a beta) it's HERE. I've been thinking about submitting it to TriS, but I'm not sure yet.

I know! It's quite annoying :bitch:

Aquarius wrote:Actually, I really like how you did T'Pol's hair. I wish it had that kind of texture and movement in the show. I am so sick of the Vulcanoid hair helmets. Pay the actors to cut their hair, or get better wigs that look like they really could've grown out of someone's head.

No, no, T'Pau's hair is a mess because I messed with the light source and then tried to fix it but couldn't. T'Pol is better because the light source is constant, at least. But I'm with you with the bad wigs. I always thought that Vulcan soldiers didn't wear helmets because their hair was one

And I usually try to draw Vulcan faces angular, because that's how I picture them. Angular features, longer than a Human's torso and very long limbs.

You might have to add the ff.net email to your address book or something in case it thinks ff.net is spam. Since I delete a lot of those alerts without opening them, I could see where it might end up being considered spam, but gmail seems to be able to handle that issue and just about everything else with a little more sophistication than verizon/msn could. Knock wood.

Hey, JT, I have also been trying to revise an old story like you are doing with yours. I think it is harder to revise than write from scratch! But I really want to do this one I am working on and add a sequel. Since the story isn't on Triaxian Silk it will be "new" here. And I am embarrased by parts of it that I think are lame (written about three years ago), though other parts of it seem just fine and I will leave them alone. I just am so emotionally pulled by the characters and the direction I took them that I can't leave the story alone, LOL. :?
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

Just to clarify, it's an N.C.I.S. story (as in Naval Criminal Investigative Service), not CSI. Big difference!

Ah, thanks. There seem to be so many variations on CSI I figured this was just another one of them...

^ A common mistake that nevertheless usually annoys the crap out of NCIS fans.

Actually all of that sounds very interesting. I'll be checking out "Mirage" and Rigil's NCIS story (I don't mind at all that he's writing in other fandoms), and looking forward to Linda's newly updated story. Yes, once you write a novel-length story, it's a shame not to leave it there in good shape for the enjoyment? (I hope) of people around the world. (I'm so amazed that I've got a reader from Turkey and from the United Arab Emerites, and several from Germany and Italy. :))
I'm donating my body to science fiction.

Damn it. I don't have any UAE. (I'm trying to see how many countries I can get this month.)

Have you noticed there's one country that always goes nameless? The Country That Shall Not Be Named? I've got seven visitors from that blank space. I'm dying to know what the hell it is. North Korea? Cuba? Guantanamo? Atlantis?

I love what she did with the book to get the calendar in.

However, I don't think the red bikini shot of Jolene is all that flattering. Maybe if you're only going for the Playboy factor.

To be honest, and this might come as a surprise, I'm not that keen on that particular image either. But it was the only one I had with her posing in water and I wanted to get the summer feel.

The red bathing suit pic looks majorly photoshopped. She looks out of proportion. The other ones are very nice.

Not that she isn't beautiful - If I didn't like her so much I'd hate her guts.

Well, it does look very summery. And I'd love to look half as good in a bikini as she does! *Wouldn't we all, ladies?*
