Seriously, coming from a DEFINITE SW's fanatic THAT was the most perfect thing I have ever read on the subject of being either "in" or "out" I hope I being in group B never treadted group C badly. BRAVO! But I have never watched Spaceballs, I found it revoltingly ugly visually as a child. And I can't look without getting queezy.

I am in a SW's minority, I hate Princess Leia. That doesn't make you popular.

Now more art please? <pouty face>

 EK, you should do movie reviews. Speaking as a member of group A whose children are reluctant members of group B, I agree entirely with your insightful analysis.

Yeah, I think you nailed it, EK. I have to agree that I don't think those movies have aged terribly well. At the time, though, that first one practically felt like a religious experience.

Still almost every woman can appreciate Han Solo's black pants! And I adored looking at Liam Neison, Ewan McGregor, and Hayden Christiansen in the prequals.

My husband and I were something like 10 & 11 when the first movie came out. We were both big fans at the time. We remained fans, but I am 1000% more into Star Trek than anything else. My husband isn't a really big fan of anything.

Fast forward and now we have a 6 year old son. All on his own and thanks to the Clone Wars cartoons and Lego Star Wars he and his friends are crazy for it! I really can't say that it was because of our influence.

My son had a Star Wars themed birthday party this year and was Boba Fett for Halloween.

OK That's just about the funniest thing I've seen today. :guffaw: Those "nipple orifices" are acutally his blasters, guns that are DEADLY. Not the picture I was hoping for but truly worth the laugh.

So I take it Hubby isn't into SW's either? The ex and I were so into it together. I was Jedi he was Sith, really great arguements. But he also had a creepy facination with the borg. :?

Oh my, eK! That was a hilarious explanation for you being in the "out-out" group of humanity! :guffaw:

Still, the mind boggles...
