That she is! And she's tiny (5'1'').

Considering who you are and where you live, that might be a show for you, Dis. Rachel plays a doctor (from N.Y.) who goes south to practice at her, up until graduation unknown, father's clinic.

I'll look for it. Most times I can't really enjoy medical shows, though, because instead of sitting back and enjoying the story I tend to pick apart the medical details. Small errors really annoy me, and no series listens perfectly to their technical consultants about medical stuff. They always get something wrong, and it bugs me. So I watch SyFy instead. :D

You should see me watching shows in which people work with computers and do things with them that aren't realistically possible. 'Best' shows are CIS:Buttcrack and the likes, where they look at the screen crosseyed, run Windows on an Apple, press a key and the computer spews out any result they like without bein asked a question  God knows how often I swore at the TV for people trying to sell me bovine excrement.

You should see me trying to watch House. My kids hate being in the same room with me. Either I'm griping over the mistakes or I guess the disease of the week in the first five minutes.

I take that back about SyFy. Hubby had "Shawn of the Dead" on the other day on SyFy. It was very anatomically correct. Over lunch, yet. Blech. I've been put off pasta with red sauce for the foreseeable future.

Ah, that's my favorite zombie movie! I wouldn't want to try to eat during it, though.

Jaime and I tried to watch a Cuban version, Juan of the Dead, but it just got too tiresome.

I have the same problem whenever I watch something that is attempting to jump into the realm of archaeology - I don't mind as much when it's an obvious parody or B-movie level attempt, but the more serious shows/movies make me cringe.

I remember a scene from TNG (can't remember the episode) where Picard is showing some sort of statue to Riker and says something to the effect of "this is clearly ceremonial..." :vulcan: He apparently subscribes to the facepalm-inducing school of thought of "if we don't know what it is, it's ritual" =p (says the girl who wrote her Master's thesis on shamanism in archaeology....)

Wow, that's a blast from the past...I remember her from "The Faculty" when I was a kid, but I don't think I've seen her in anything since.

One of the few redeeming things about Abrams Trek is Zoe Saldana, thus she's my July calendar babe:

She is lovely, isn't she? My favorite of her roles, though, is from Avatar, so I'm not sure if I like her or just the animators' interpretation of her.

Well, I prefer her real self to her blue animated version... :-P
