Did you see the black sand beach? If memory serves, it's next to a white coral sand beach. Oh, it's been so long.

I see you had some typically Scottish weather that day!
The movie One Day is bookended by some rather nice use of the old town and Arthur's Seat even though most of it takes place in London (if you can bear an angsty chick flick in which Anne Hathaway really can't maintain a consistent British accent).

Yeah, that was the only day that happened, apart from a few hours the day before when we were at Loch Ness.

Isn't the border country pretty? Did you go on an organized tour? You certainly hit most of the highlights in a very short time.
Next time, though, you might include the Isle of Mull and maybe some of the pretty little fishing villages in Fife...
