Today they successfully launched the prototype for NASA's new rocket, the Ares 1-X. And I couldn't help myself but made some wallpapers of the event. Now let's hope that this will herald a new era in space exploration, with trips to the moon and Mars.

Note Mike Okuda's (of Trek fame) logos displayed on the rocket!

Awesome pics, KTR. I get a thrill just looking at them and thinking of how daring it would be to go to Mars for the very first time. I truely hope to see us put some human footprints on that planet during my lifetime.
