Have to confess I'm not 100% hip on netspeak acronyms, so I'm not sure what the "HILF, etc" one is about. I'm assuming the H is for Human and the V is for Vulcan, but it's too early in the A.M. without caffeine to make a guess as to the rest of the letters.

Well, Sarah Palin is supposed to be a MILF, or "Mother I'd Like to ****" if that helps you any. I can't really explain this further without getting rude.

"OTP" is One True Pairing, I believe. At least I've seen it used in that context before.

Sorry, forgot to mention I haunt some forums that use acronyms upon which I've built...

VILF = Vulcan I'd Like To F***
HILF = Human I'd Like To F***
OTP = One True Pairing (some would say Romana and Doctor Four, or Aeryn Soong and Jon Crichton, for example)

I'd only seen DILF used on another fan board, then was watching 'My Name Is Bruce' and he basically called the girl next to him a MILF - cue hysterical laughter from me, LOL. I don't get out much...

Anyone seen the cartoon speech bubble maker at bighugelabs.com? The same place that does motivator posters etc. Never tried it. I wonder if they have 100 x 100 icon type stuff too. I do love playing with Photoshop but it can take forever sometimes.

Well, he can. He's entitled. It's when the boys barely old enough to shave do it (not recently, been a while since I was brave enough to wear that MU T'Pol costume) that I get just a weenie bit creeped out. It's flattering, I guess... in a skin-crawly sickly smile kinda way. I feel like I should thank them for noticing and wash their mouths out with soap at the same time.

Forgive me if I've misunderstood, but you'd wash Trip's mouth out with soap? I admit, I'd do a lot to that boy, but soap in his mouth would not be one of them.

Not Trip. Just the boy calling me a MILF. It's an old southern tradition for moms to do that to kids who use foul language. Dirty mouth becomes clean. Get it?

I've heard threats of washing mouths out with soap up here in the northeast, but don't know that anyone ever actually does it.
