Great avatars everyone!

Mine was modeled after the illustrious Rigil Kent's...

I always knew it reminded me of something... Wink

Is there some kind of template for making a signature banner?

an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

You can make one in Photoshop (well, that's what I used - hmm, I should put one back). When it asks if you want to start a new file, just specify a size within the pixel limits... which I've forgotten at the moment.

I keep ending up with this HUGE white space below the banner. Sigh. Banghead

What's the maximum size for animated gifs as avatars? On WWBJ we have 80 kB and 120x120 pixels. Here we can have 150x150 pixels but it just says the max file size for stills (at least I think so) which is 29 kB. Please tell me that's not the max amount for animated gifs as well.

I ask because I wonder if I should bother making an animated 150x150 avatar.

The file size limit, KTR, is only for those images uploaded to the site (which you can't do anyway). It doesn't apply to images from elsewhere, or at least that's what it says on the admin CP in regards to avatars...

How about this one? I'm not sure--get them to march up and down a bit...

So, with the help of Shakabutt's screencaps, I've made myself the avatar of Jolene in Shadow Puppets that I'm now wearing!

Here is the 120x120 version:

And some of the stills:

I wonder what kind of pictures Kevin Thomas Riley has on the walls in his house.

Probably those god awful babies-with-saxophones and puppies-in-baskets kind of posters, right?

Am I right?
