Re: Fanart
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.
But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

No, because 27 is a spring chicken!
Hey, if mulch helps a person stay young, I should be in good shape.

Why, does it have a picture of Connor's ass in it?
Sorry couldn't resist

Kevin Thomas Riley wrote:I seriously doubt a large magazine like Maxim would bother taking pics of an unknown model and then sit on them for many years in the hope that she one day might become a little famous.
I dug around and found that these pics are from the November 2002 UK edition of Maxim.
Trust me, I'm the resident Jolene expert. These where taken in 2002, when she was 27 years old. Given that she's a stunningly beautiful woman, is it that hard to believe that she looked like this at 27?
I see what you're saying about a magazine not taking pictures just to sit on them, but considering that pictures get sold all the time, it was a reasonable theory. Some photographer had taken a bunch of nudes of Madonna before she was anybody special, and after she got famous he sold them to some magazine (Playboy, maybe?), realizing a big financial opportunity when he saw one. Same thing happened to Vanessa Williams after she'd been crowned Miss America--and it ended her reign. So I think that's where Linda was going with that, that while the pictures may have appeared in Maxim that year, they might've been from before, not having your extensive knowledge of Jolene's career.
Still, I think we all have to face it: she's probably going to look good in (or even out) of a bikini when she's old and gray, as long as she takes care of herself.

Re: Fanart
Thanks, Aquarius, yeah, I was not thinking anyone would SIT on pictures like that, L L. But like you said of Madonna, they could have been out there being sold to a small group of interested people, then take off in sales once a person became better known. But if KTR can put a definite date to those photos, I'd accept that. It is just that she did look younger than 26, 27 to me. But then, I guess I should trust the male of the species as being more of a connisseur of the female form, eh? At least I think they linger a bit longer over it.
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

Long ago I though about doing an Enterprise manga. I have only one finished page so far, but I hope you like it (yes, Trip looks awfully young )

OK, this is a drawing I did for Little Red, inpired in her "April Challenge Story". She thought you'd want to see it too, so I'm sharing Again, it's a manga style comic. It's done in a rush, that's why Trip doesn't look like himself (or Archer, but that matters less )
HERE is the pic.

Escriba, that is fabulous. You have an amazing drawing talent.

I have to confess that I lack the gene for manga, but I think you totally nailed Archer there!
