 :duh:  I just broke a glass of merlot on the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the library's spotless floor (wood thank God instead of carpet like ours, which already has wine stains on it), all because I went to hug goodbye to somebody. I didn't even get a full glass of wine to drink before this happened! May I just admit that I am deathly afraid of wine glasses? Who designed these things, carpet manufacturers?

Well, water for my father and myself (we're teetotalers). Wine for the rest (red and rosé and white), then cava (Spanish Champagne; I think this is what evcake is going to drink), bitter and sweet. I'm sure my Uncle Who's His Name will want Irish Coffe (so after that he'll have more whisky). And then some orujo to settle the meal (orujo is a strong alcoholic liquor distilled from grape or herbs pressings; herbs orujo in this case). And maybe some of my family members will want Baileys. And... No, I think this is it :D

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

To all my friends at Triaxian Silk, to Enterprise!

Suddenly I'm flashing back to Asso's Christmas story from last year. What was that toast, Asso?

I've never liked egg nog, but this year was introduced to pumpkin egg nog, which is actually decent in small amounts. Also hot spiced apple cider - but nothing with alcohol. I don't understand the appeal and haven't interest in drinking.

Now for New Year's Eve, sparkling apple cider. Mmmm.

I like glögi=glögg so I'll definitely have that, but mostly I'll be drinking water and milk and sour milk like every other day of the year.

So what kind of Christmash dinners are you going to have?

My stepdaughter and her mother and husband have just spent TWO DAYs making pasteles, so I know that will be part of it. And pernil. (Roast pork.) So Christmas Eve dinner will be yummy and no doubt also include rice and beans since those are Puerto Rican requirements, especially with pasteles!

My mom laughs at me because when she asks me what I want for Christmas Eve dinner, I almost always request meat loaf. She doesn't understand--after all these years, I still can't make a decent meat loaf to save my life--I either end up with meat loaf soup, or the brick--so Christmas Eve dinner is the one time a year I get a good one! :D

Many of our foods are traditional scandinavian one's like ham, fish and riceporridge, but those that are traditional finnish one's are casseroles that are made from mashed things like potato casserole made from mashed potatoes that are kept in temperature about 50C for several hours to sweeten it, then there are also carrot casserole, swede casserole and liver casserole. People here are very homogenous in many things so the foods and traditions are very similar with many.

About drinks my aunt makes this home beer that has very little alcohol in it so it's considered a non alcoholic drink, but I've never liked it so I don't usually drink it.

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.
