Happy Chinese New Year! Or if you prefer, Happy Lunar New Year!

At least around here, this time of year needs all the help it can get. It was great that last week we had Groundhog Day aka Imbolc and Candlemas. Tomorrow we have Mardi Gras aka Shrove Tuesday. Unfortunately, here we're having snow instead of parades. But I think I can make it until next Monday and Presidents' Day :)

Well the high today was 88 and at 5:53 its still 77

here in Torrance, CA. Seems almost too warm for a parade. Personally, I'd like it to rain.

I take it your not walking around in shorts and flip-flops.

Hope you all had a Happy Easter! We went to visit my brother and sister-in-law in North Carolina. It was a little too much time in the car for my taste, but it was good to see them and to get to know an area (Asheville) I had never visited before. I got a few ideas to use in writing about our favorite Southern engineer.

Who can help me? I am looking for a video about Trip and T'Pol with the music of Accidently in love. I love that vid,  but can't find it on You tube. Any help?

Panyasan,

I think you can find it at http://triptpolers.houseoftucker.com/mi ... sing.shtml. I downloaded it, but I haven't been able to watch it yet because it's in a file format my iMac doesn't like. It sounds great. I'm trying to convert it into something I can watch.

You know, recently there hasn't been much activity on the site and not many people posting on the forum. Because I am one of the oldies (been here since the beginning), I thought I may have a chance of being the person with the most posts on the forum.

Who knows?

Nay. I still have 7000 post to go before I can beat number one.

Maybe I must find another hobby...

It's not the quantity, but the quality...

I lose on both!

Indeed! 8)

BTW, Transwarp, remember your comment on my story The Naked Truth? You said that you prefered a more extented version of that story.
Guess what, I am writing that version as we speak... It's the quality of what you say, indeed.

Today a piece of equipment I use at work stopped functioning. Once I figured out the problem, I had to order an NX battery pack. If Trip had to use this stuff, it's a wonder the Enterprise ever made warp 5.

Equipment Failure is never a good thing

No matter where it occurs or what the equipment is.

I came across this today and thought it was great: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMH1vDDd1xc. Neil deGrasse Tyson answers the question on which he likes better: the Millenium Falcon or the Starship Enterprise. He doesn't say which Enterprise he is referring to, but his answer could apply to them all.
