Re: New members, introduce yourselves here!
Welcome, Hondafan. That's an interesting idea about Honda making warp drives. Makes just as much sense as anything else around here. Maybe you should write a fic about the first Earth company to make commercial warp drives. Every fanfic I've ever read has assumed that the construction of warp drive engines is the province of the government/military on Earth, but commercial freighters and Boomers have to get their engines from somewhere. I would imagine that the tech explosion which would accompany the Romulan war would open up all kinds of entrepreneurial opportunities. I've never read a corporate espionage fanfic.

Screen name justTrip'n
Real name, gender, location, profession (only if you want to): PM me, I'll tell you my real name. Pittsburgh. I'm assistant editor of an economics journal.
Are you here as a reader, writer, or both? I used to be a writer, but the fever passed. For a while I was a beta. I'm a reader, but I'm really slow.
How did you first become a fan of Star Trek? I got hooked partways into The Next Generation. My husband was watching it faithfully.
Are you interested in any other fandoms? I loved X-Files, Firefly, and am starting into Farscape. But I never got online with other fans until Enterprise.
What's your favorite Enterprise fanfic? Anything by Peter Simons (all time favorite); enterprikayak's Coitus series; Rigil's stories, especially the 3rd and the 5th installments of the Endeavour Series; John O./Elessar's "Telluride," "Vulcan 4 First Date," and "I'll Go First"; Black 'n Blue's first and second stories; The Cursor's "Mom, Dad, and Self-Sealing Stem Bolts"; Shoudknowbetter's "Rainbow's Foote"; Distracted's "Boy Meets Girl" and other stories imitating different writing styles, also "No Greater Love"; Linda's "Cheese and other Interesting Smells" . . . I better stop.
What was the last book you read? I'm halfway through Bangkok 8, a murder mystery set in Thailand. Oh dear, the last book I actually finished may be "The Good that Men Do."
Hobbies? Astronomy, early American history (the Founding Fathers), watching my kids' soccer games.

Welcome Hondafan!
OK. I'll redo mine cause I've got some time to kill
Screen name CoffeeCat (because I love coffee and cats, duh)
Real name, gender, location, profession (only if you want to): Alma, Female, Orange MA, Lollygagger.
Are you here as a reader, writer, or both? Both. I'm a somewhat lazy writer who procrastinates like crazy and blames it on ADD.
How did you first become a fan of Star Trek? I watched it as a kid when my Dad was watching TV until it hit me that I really really liked TOS and the idea that with Sci Fi there can be no limit to the imagination. Star Trek really showcased that concept to me.
Are you interested in any other fandoms? At the moment I'm starting to watch Quantum Leap again (yep, I found that online too)
What's your favorite Enterprise fanfic? Too many to choose from
What was the last book you read? How about novel length fan fiction? I just read "Shuttle Down" on the Tom Paris dorm website.
Hobbies? Writing fan fiction.

Nu-uh! Dinah's The Thorn and the Rose had Trip thinking about leaving Starfleet for a civilian engineering job, remember?

I am such a nerd but here i goes.... After the birth of TnT's triplets Trip leaves Satrfleet to serve as senior designer of Honda of Earths Warp 7 engine. TPol teaches at UCLA. The new Honda Warp 7 engine features the latest in Warp field technology.ie:

Don't you think that she deserves some pain, after all, she got to be the attractive Sidekick!Polly!
But I wont go into that now.
In fact, the only triplet birth I have read was from a huge fish tank.

Yeah. But she had to EXPLODE first to get them there.

Talk about bloodshed...
It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

Yeah. If I remember correctly she was in an EV suit when it happened and the author (enterprikayak, I think) actually described how her boots were full of blood.

^ I think I read that one before. Not my kind of fic. I was with her up until the point where T'Pol accused Trip of being a "pro-lifer" and then I was like "WTF?"
Writing as TrekPyro.
