Does that mean we have to shoot super models into space now ? I'm not quite sure that whatever aliens are out there are prepared for an eye-full like Jody Kidd :tears:

Hey, an actual logical reason for T'Pol, from a higher gravity planet, to wear that tight-fitting suit aboard Enterprise!

I was fascinated by this:

Researchers, supported by the National Science Foundation, are looking at whether children who suffer from cerebral palsy might be able to use the compression skinsuits, Newman says.

Of course, part of me just keeps envisioning Wallace and Grommet and "The Wrong Trousers."

Fascinating stuff. That explains why I keep waking up in the early hours, and many other people I've mentioned this to have said the same thing. I had absolutely no idea that waking up in the middle of the night was normal and healthy.

I actually shared that one on Facebook, but only one friend seemed interested. I was surprised, since I think it's very interesting, too. I can't say I feel I really experience sleep that way, though. I might wake up and roll over a few times, but that's about it (unless I really start brooding about something -- or my subconscious knows that I forgot to set the alarm).

The Neanderthal thing is interesting too. In the story I'm writing right now, Humanity is potentially going to be in similar straits.
