Have to agree later seasons were better -- they had Yesterday's Enterprise on tonight and it wore pretty well.

Yesterday's Enterprise is one of my favorite shows. Season 3 of Tng was when they finally started getting better stories than the first 2 seasons.

I liked the Sarek episode, though I didn't like his second wife much. I think that was TNG season 3?

First Contact is also my favorite movie. Loved the line "Don't you guys from the 24th century, pee?" And I liked the actual first contact scene at the end.

I liked seeing Sarek again but I didn't like Perrin either. Some of the authors of the Startrek books didn't like her character either.

Yes! And the winning story of the last Strange New Worlds Anthology was about her. That story was not very nice to her either, but kind of sad. I don't see what attracted Sarek to her. He must have been very lonely, I guess! But that man could have any woman he wanted. Well at least any Human woman. Don't know what Vulcan women thought of him.

He couldn't have me (not that he'd want me). I don't care for the remote and imperious type even if he is hiding sentimental mush on the inside.

Trip, on the other hand, could have me at hello. (Not that he'd want me either.)

I feel a little bit of envy.
