Huh? There's quite a few people here who think you should have quite a few of those yet to come

LOL, thanks, Kotik. I meant that if I didn't have any more birthdays, I would not grow any older and would live forever. How
that for illogical reasoning?

I had chocolate covered strawberries for breakfast followed by a one hour Swedish massage this am. Hubby and I are going to see Saving Mr. Banks in a bit. I think I like being half a century old. It's fun so far. :D

Happy Birthday, Distracted! Chocolate covered strawberries and a massage sounds like a wonderful start. I hope your birthday is even better than I'm imagining.

LOL. Thanks, guys. Swedish applies to the style of massage, of course, and not to the nationality of the very talented young woman who performed the service. 8)

And despite the fact that it was not science fiction, I enjoyed the movie "Saving Mr. Banks" very much. The portrayal in the movie of P.L. Travers reminds me of my grandmother, who, although she was not British, had a very prim and proper demeanor. I believe I shall endeavor to be like her as I age. Then I will have carte blanche to be as prickly and persnickety as I like.

Off to dinner now. The place has a killer chocolate soufflé. Yum.

Of course. My love of chocolate might even rival your love of beer. And that's saying something. : )
