This site must be comforting in some way because I find I always want to come here when I'm distressed or upset about something. Our dog died very suddenly last week and I can't get the images and sounds out of my head. Seizures are very upsetting to watch and leave you feeling helpless. :( Still feeling sad. So I came to the whine thread to whine.

So sorry, Bether. I'm off now, though I'm still cleaning up grades for another day or two. Do you have any time to get away -- we could do lunch -- or dinner- or whatever you want.

Thank you. The support is comforting.

I would love to get out for a while! I'll see if I can find help for a few hours. What day works for you?

I sent you an email, Beth (you're still at AOL, right?)

I'm pretty flexible until the 6th, barring appliance/plumbing scheduling still to be done.

That includes next week except for the 25th and 26th. ;)

Sandy

Beth6074,

I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. The loss of a beloved pet is always hard.

I had a kitten who seized when he was dying. I still remember the helpless and desperate feeling. I'm sure you did everything you could for your dog. I hope that will be some comfort.

Frances

Thank you. Helpless and desperate, yes. I imagine it will take some time.

LOL, I think my birthdate, like my story submission efforts have lately dropped off the radar on this site. Maybe the cable that my internet service uses is buried in two feet of snow and got frozen. It's been a longer than usual winter here, much deeper and much colder. I usually like winter but I am soooo done with this one!

I hear ya Linda. My septic pipe that runs from the house out to the septic tank is frozen up again. Lets just say it is a bit inconvenient.....

I'm definitely ready for it to be spring. I don't even want to think about what it's like in Michigan or Wisconsin this winter.

Linda, did we miss your birthday?

There has been a calamity on the internet.

http://plomeeksoupandpecanpie.weebly.co ... -tpol.html has disappeared. :(

Where are you Asso? Please tell me this is just a glitch!

The site has been cleared.
I seem to have contravened some rule, I frankly do not know what.
I had no warning.
And I have not preserved any memory of any of the comments that I had affixed.
A very good day, I have to say. :censored:

I hope you have your stories and artwork safe, at least. :(
