Something like that. In any case, right now I'm kinda screwed. It's irritating.

Helo Warpgirl!

If you don't mind someone with linguistic tendecies and who lives in a different time zone, I wouldn't mind to be a reserve beta for you. I promise I won't ground myself... and I have normal word program too.

Though giving your brother a talking to does sounds like a very good idea, it's your computer not his, so you should be the one to decide what comes on it.

Bloody Nora! :o

I knew smoking was bad for my health, but this is ridiculous. We've just come out of a week of record freezing temperatures and the biggest amount of snow since the Neanderthals disappeared. Last night the temperatures did an about-face and turned positive, so now we're left with about 5 inces of sludge :? I just went to buy a pack o' cigarettes and the stuff is slippery like you wouldn't believe! I wobbled and weaved about like a failed youth, training for a break-dance competition :? Now I know, what the words 'atrocious conditions' have been invented for. :bitch:

I'm really not sure I should be doing anything that encourages you to work on "other interests", but if it would be any help I'd be happy to either convert the file you have into any format you need, or have a stab at beta-ing it for you. (Bear in mind that although I'm reasonably good at spelling/grammar I am utterly clueless about anything remotely creative so don't expect any feedback about the story itself.)

That's so sweet! Yashida has graciously offered to help, and my mom will help me get the file tonight. But don't worry Cogito I give you my solem promise, I am not abandoning my ENT fic. The minute I get my "other interest" chapter set up and submitted, I swear I will be back to the Vulcan grindstone. But dude the Force is calling and I must obey. :D

... whine ? Mine on Saturday (4th), due to flight delays. My first connection (São Paulo) was delayed one hour because the airplane crew was stuck in a traffic jam !! (no one told me if it was some kind of accident or the normal, big city, leave out for the weekend.

Then, crossing Atlantic South, the plane route was changed to cross (South North) the
Sahaara, because air traffic control in Spain was striking. Extra time imposed a non scheduled stop at Milan to refuel. Arrival in Munich with 3h delay, lost my connecting flight and the next one. I'd to wait 6 extra hours for the next flight.

Of course, when I arrived my first destination (Lisbon), 23h, there were no more trains to were I was supposed to go. So, one extra night in Lisbon... Finally I arrived Aveiro on the noon of Sunday, only 22 hours late :(

And now I need a bite of lucky flights on Wednesday (Lisbon-Munich-Delhi)

Good luck.

I love to travel - or rather being at foreign places - but flying is such a nuisance. Not to mention staying at airports. Bleach!

Hope the rest of your trip goes better, Enerdhil!

In packing for his trip to Puerto Rico to observe an anniversary of his mother's death, my husband discovered the clothes he and my son had packed for their trip their last spring ... along with our son's long lost inhaler.

It happens. My whine: Stressed out with too many writing projects. Tired, and feeling about age 77 (my grammy's age) because of the cold. Oh and my game went fuzzy so now I have to play again to get to the spot that I was in copying dialogue. This fanfic hobby can be a curse. At least my ENT adventures are going slightly better for now............ And I'll wait til the other foot drops.
