Netflix has a strategy of building up its TV holdings to differentiate itself from cable on demand and so forth. One could argue that it also seems to have a strategy of going bankrupt...

I don't know if financing/exclusively showing the final season(s?) of Friday Night Lights worked out well for DirecTV, one of our satellite providers. I guess that if you're crazy enough about Terra Nova you might subscribe to Netflix just to be able to watch it.
