A thought about YouTubes: you just see the link, they don't hit you in the face, yes? And we have the spoiler thingy now, right?

Scotty is talking about Kirk as if he was still alive at the time Scotty got caught in the Transporter for a century. But in the movie Generations (which was made after Scotty's TNG episode Relics) we know that Kirk was presumed dead by that time, and Scotty should know that since he had been there.
