I just peeked at the NJ con site. My husband would be very glad to see Jeri Taylor (Seven of Nine), both otherwise it doesn't look very star-studded this year. I can't believe that Creation is running "Salute to the Supernatural" cons. Ughh. (Did I ever tell you that my Dad is a "Ghostbuster?" As a professor at the University of Pittsburgh, he taught a class on psuedoscience. He also used to do talks where he would pass himself off as a pyschic and once people were taken in, he would give his real message: psuedoscience is bad. But I digress.)
So, T'Sara, more to the point. That convention week is the week I'm going to get my foreign exchange student from Thailand.
Although a case could be made that Star Trek is an essential part of the American experience.
