I'm looking for a particular film as a birthday present for my cousin.
About ten years ago, we spent an entire night sitting up just talking and watching trashy television. We watched this 1980's romantic (comedy) film that starred one of the Baldwin brothers (I think).
It was about this really rich businessman who'd worked his way up the corporate ladder from nothing. He falls in love with this common-as-muck New York woman. And, (somehow) this new relationship threatens everything he's worked so hard for (!) It was like a poor man's version of 'Pretty Woman'.
Yes, it was extremely cheesy. But, for sentimental reasons, it would make the most perfect present for my cousin!
I've tried searching through the filmographies for all of the Baldwin brothers.... but no luck
