I LOVE crawfish etoufee. One of my favorites. I was allergic to shellfish for about 7 years. That was the thing I missed most.

Did you make it? Do you have a good recipie?
I didn't make that particular batch, but I do make it. The key to a good crawfish etouffee is real butter, lots of it, and not rinsing the crawfish tails. You lose the fat that way. And you want the fat. Here's a good recipe that looks pretty much the same as what I do when I make it, only I usually make more than 4 servings. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/emeril-lagasse/crawfish-etouffee-recipe/index.html

...doing?

I've made some Christmas ginger snaps today. Lazy as I am I used prefabricated dough from the store.

Thanks, Dis! I'll have to give it a try after the holidays.

...doing?

Well, I watched the first 2 seasons of Heroes in 3 days.... and I went and saw Tron, which was surprisingly good... but mostly been dealing with real life.

And now I'm making florentines. hopefully they turn out well.

Sorry, but what specifically are 'florentines'? Something to eat or to decorate in Christmas? :?

... what am I doing? Waiting, at Munich Airport, for my connexion to Brazil - arrived here 13:35 (local time), will depart only 21:45 (and will have still 13 hours flight, plus 1:50 airport stop at Sao Paulo).

Shame, they appear delicious but, really not well suited for one who has sugar counts on the upper limit... :banghead:

...doing?

Recovering from my first Zumba class. It was awkward. I have come to the conclusion that my hips just don't DO that. It was marginally easier on the knees than karate class, though, and a lot less painful. Being able to exercise without bruising is always a good thing. ;-)
