Macy's is quite the cultural center, huh? On "Shop for a Cause Day" at our local store, they had a lot of acts from the community running while a bunch of us were raising money for our causes by selling shopping discounts. Seemed like a nice win-win for anyone who was really planning to shop and we also made some nice bucks for the library.

I got goosebumps. Wish I'd been there!

Isn't it just awesome? And I swear, there is no better place to shop and get into the Christmas spirit than a grand, old-fashioned urban department store with Salvation Army bell ringers and carols playing!

Double post, sorry, but I wanna share this one. European members will know that we have an annual event called the "Eurovision Song Contest", a singer's contest where all European countries square off. This year Germany won for the first time since 1982 and I want to share the song:
