Thanks!

Distracted, you're allowed to come in with your opinion, too, you know. I can hack it.

LOL. You know what I think already. I gave you the unexpurgated version. I think that your novel is an impressive study of an exasperating character with either borderline or narcissistic personality disorder. Since one of the first things you tend to notice about such people is the frustration (and often sheer dislike) you feel when trying to deal with them, the fact that I feel the way I do about your main character means that you did a very impressive job with your characterization. 8)

LOL. Not if I didn't intend for you to think that! I'm actually fascinated at how very differently people perceive Mary and her conversion (or lack of conversion, depending).

Distracted has been very helpful with the medical stuff, some of which I got wrong. Unfortunately, wrestling with Amazon's html file to make changes is proving more difficult than I had hoped.

D, Did you come across some words with weird spaces in them? I know LoyaulteMeLie did, especially she says towards the end. (If you did, tell me what your device was. As long as I'm wrestling with html I might as well try to fix that problem too, but I'm not seeing it on my own file)

I did see some strange spacing with words, but it didn't really bother me. I was reading on my laptop PC with the Kindle I downloaded from Amazon.com.

I liked Mary okay. I feel that I accepted her. She likes cats too and that's always a plus. :) My favorite character was Bert. :)

You're not the only one to love Bert the best. Sounds like I need to try to go through that file again. I would have expected Kindle previewer on the my PC to behave just like Kindle reader on a laptop, but maybe not. (It's a Windows laptop?)

I forgot to mention that I seem to enjoy writing sex scenes more than I enjoy reading them so that's why I chose the PG-13 version. Not that it's relevant, but just saying...

Yes, my laptop is Windows.

You actually put the review on the regular version, which is a good thing. The PG-13 is already so far behind in sales and reviews that it is unlikely to ever get 'discovered' by anyone (not that the first one necessarily is either), but I'm still glad it's there for people who prefer it.

I didn't notice any glaring typos or formatting issues, but I tend to skim when I read for pleasure so I may have just missed them. I only read word for word when I'm editing something.

Oh, and I was reading on Kindle for iPad.
