I was concerned when I hadn't heard from him for so long, but to have those fears confirmed comes as a blow. Very best wishes, old friend.

God give him peace, I was getting worried and did not know what to do. He had not opened a Christmas wish. Thanks Asso for letting us know.

With Tom being the Methuselah of the forum, I guess it was inevitable that this day would come. Here I am fighting tears about a person I never met in real life. Thankfully the wise ol' fella has been quite productive, so he'll live on in his stories.

Since Asso seems to have contact with Tom's relatives, maybe he can help us expressing our condolences once the grim reaper has gone about his business.

That's sad news. I've been missing his presence around here for a while and feared the worst. I hope that having a group of friends online has been good for him - I know that I've enjoyed his writing and his irascible presence.
