I don't even remember the end of Aliens. You mean with Sigourney Weaver? All I remember about those was that every time you thought the freaking thing was finally over, it wasn't... And I don't handle scary movies very well!

I get the too-scary-to-watch thing. First time I saw Alien, I was scrunched down in my seat, hands over my eyes, peeking through slits between my fingers. Scared the beJEEbus outta me.

In Aliens, Ripley decompressed the cargo bay of the ship--similar to the scene with Archer and Silik in Cold Front--to blow the Queen alien out into space once and for all.

I watched Signs (Mel Gibson) in theatres and I was almost crying. Nothing actually happens in that movie, but you think it's going to. I'm terrified of scary movies.

Dumbest movie ever by the way, after I was done watching it.

I like the Scary Movie take on it. I think I know a lot more movies from vulgar parodies than I see of the originals.

NOT the dumbest movie ever--well the plot didn't make sense. BUT it was effectively scary!!!! That's what counts. I watched it on vacation with my kids in the movie theater and when we got the first sight of the alien, two kids jumped and clung to me from each side. (Always good for a Mom's ego.)
