I'm laughing. This is wild. The article doesn't say so, but apparently this person wrote a very explicit BDSM Twilight fanfic. It was wildly popular, so she edited it to remove all Twilight references before submitting it to a minor publisher in Australia. Now Random House has picked it up.

It's amazingly sad that there are such honestly great stuff out there and now everyone outside of fandoms thinks that is what fanfic is.
I hate that is the first real major mainstream one to go huge. It's bad write, the subject is fine, but it's written so poorly. Does not approve.
