I'm not a big fan of any of the options ... and I'm still trying to figure out how they can afford these prizes ...
*shrug* Go Kirk.

And you already know how I feel about frelling crossovers.
I'm going to try it anyway. I think I'm up to the challenge. I'll take their cliche's and turn 'em all inside out.

Well kinda hard to get both Kirk and Picard together otherwise probably got scared that someone (like me) would have come up with like a totally whacky (as usual ) plot of Wheelchair!Bound!Great!Grandpa!Kirk vs. Stroller!Bound!Infant!Picard. Uhhh... now that I posted this I'm probably gonna come up with that stupid plot anyway you know though now that I think about it, (based on CoffeeCat's post) it really didn't mention anywhere that they can't both be in diapers.

It looks to me like you do, unless you win for reviewing.Distracted wrote:You don't even have to write for the contest to win those prizes, though. I know that.
I love the idea of this, but I do wish it weren't so restricted. Couldn't they have come up with something better than Picard v. Kirk?

I suppose it could be worse. Q could be involved.

And once again a post of mine has resulted in a drink-spitting incident. That's like at least the 4th time I think hey how about another round robin

^ crap. I haven't even added to the other one we have going. But why not. Your idea is better than the rest of them.

Well, yes. But I think it could be better too. Offhand I don't have anything, but if it were my job to think up these things I would.Rigil Kent wrote:I suppose it could be worse.
On the other hand,at least this shouldn't start any shipper feuds.
We should add 'Rigil being a pessimist' to the death & taxes line...

Oh right how could I have forgotten the poor innocent little Romulans from the other round robin!! And the runny-assed Klingon hunka-chunka!!

Uh... ahem. Like hello?? What about all those sick little minds who get turned on by captains going cat-fight??

Um - I meant more along the lines of, if they gave an ENT prompt, a shipper war would erupt like Mt. Etna (or another volcano, if you prefer).

Re: Kirk Vs Picard on Fanlib.com
I'll admit, I'm pretty damn stumped as far as coming up with some stupid way to bring about a Kirk Vs. Picard. Ah well.
If you find your in a bind you just make some shit up.
That's how they've been writing Trek for years now.
All those simpering posters over there are lapping it all up like it's the greatest idea since First Contact. All because George Taki said he'd pay to see it and freakin' Wesley agrees with him.
And Rigel, yep, at least it doesn't involve Q. Or the Borg for that matter.
And I bet some dumb ass will write in a Mary Sue.
