Since people took exception to my hermit limerick, I hereby submit a PG-rated one and challenge people to join in :D

There once was a Chief called Trip
Who looked at a Vulcan's curved hip
With her pointy ears listening
He bowed down to kiss them
And walked away happily whisteling.

How about the infamous season 3 moment :D

Dim was the small cabin's light
The mood was just about right
With the robes a dropping
His eyes were popping
It sure will be a long night

A sweet southern charmer one day
Loved a Vulcan, and said he would stay.
In reply she first kissed him,
Then said how she'd missed him,
And they went to the Sweet Spot to play.

And this one? Marvellous.
With an enchanting feminine touch, in addition. :hatsoff: :D

All the limericks are great    but this one is especially sweet. Wish I could try to write a limerick, but I am cooking (Italian dish!) and interacting with my family, while I am also reading this thread.

Kotik, isn't the soul of limricks the fact they should be a little racy. Not down right dirty but risque and cute.

Distracted and the other Moderators have the right to decide what is going too far and what is not. The rest of us promised to follow the rules when we registered on this site. If anybody has a question or a problem with that they should PM sombody in charge.

That said, no limericks do not have to be "a little racy" in order to be limericks. A limerick can be about anything as long as it has the sentence structure of a limerick. It could be about kittens and rainbows if that is what you want.

I have a favorite limerick but there is no way I can adapt it to TnT it's a total bummer.
