Personally I think everybody is free to choice their own episode they want to write about. *the_abomination* is one of those episode who fits perfectly in a fix drabble. I don't think this site is about limiting some one in their creativity.

(And dear, you called the drabbles about *the_abomination* "just "screw *the_abomination*"- drabbles and ask if there weren't other episode to write about. With other words: you disliked the drabbles before because they "screwed" *the_abomination* and wanted drabbles about other episodes.)

Here is another drabble. I didn't like the MU Episodes and I don't like the idea of female Pon Farr. It just contradict older canon. So this is my attempt to fix canon with canon in just 100 words.

When she walked into his cabin, she saw him sitting behind his desk.

He turned around. “Those Vulcan databases are very interesting,” he remarked.
His voice was serious, but in his eyes she saw amusment.

“Did you know that a Vulcan female only goes into Pon Farr in response to her mate or in some rare occassion by a virus? So what was it? A virus or me?”

She looked at her mate, attractive with scars and all.

“It would only be logical that the Pon Farr was triggered by you,” she answered, before she kissed him.

This is absolutely perfect, as well as very heart-warming. And with this, really canon is fixed with canon. Bravo!
This idea is so intriguing that I wonder if I can use it - somehow - in my 'The Empire's Destiny'.

@Warpgirl: Sorry! I interpretated your remark as demand instead of an question.
@Asso: Yes, you can use the idea. I made it up when I was writing my MU story. In my story I don't explain much about how a Vulcan female gets into Pon Farr because of her Human mate. Guess it all has to do with hormones and other chemicals in the Vulcan and Human brain. And you're a doctor: finding a medical explanation would be a piece of cake for you.

Not your fault I can sound demanding when I'm totally not trying to be. It was an honest question. Because it seemed the only canon being "fixed" was *the_abomination* and I think a lot more could be tweaked. That said, Your drabble was awesome!

A little coda to Broken Bow just for SB:

Archer stepped into Forrest’s office and closed the door. “So how is this Vulcan diplomat supposed to fit into my command structure, Admiral?”

“She’s a subcommander in the Vulcan military as well. Under the Vulcan-Earth Joint Defense Treaty of 2147, that’s equivalent to the rank of commander in StarFleet.”

“So now I have two commanders. Well, she looks awful young. At least Trip will still be senior.”

“She may be young for a Vulcan, but she’s not young for a Human. She’s got time in grade over Commander Tucker.”

“Great, just great.”

“Think of her as a chaperone, Jon.”

Ha.

Now if only he'd bothered to tell Trip.

You should post this on the original thread, too, which is otherwise a dead, dead, dead horse I have no interest in beating yet again.

She has time in grade in the Vulcan Military not in starfleet. so Trip would still be senior to her.

always thought that her rank was the standard English equivalent. so Sub means below. She is below full commander, i. e. Lt Commander. Other wise she would be sub Captain that would put her senior to Trip. As it is she seems to be aLt Commander and he is enior in rank to her.
