I've always marveled at women who have the patience to site there and nurse. It drove me nuts and I only lasted about two months.

It was the only time I could just sit and relax. To be honest, I usually took a nap. It was also a good excuse to stop everything else and sit down. Otherwise, I was on my feet non-stop 18 hours a day, pulled in a dozen different directions by a dozen different people. I made them all wait, but I never felt guilty because, after all, the baby needed to eat, right? I LOVE nursing. Cool

Heh that's actually pretty cool. Losing weight while sitting and relaxing. Very Happy

I nursed the first one for almost two years, because i found it so easy to do and i did lose weight. I do not know if i will feed this little one so long, because every time i starting to feed him she start jumping around, wanting to kiss him or off to playing with contents of the rice box on the kitchen floor, trowing shampoo on the bathroom floor etc. So feed first, damage control later. But at night ahh.. sleeping and feeding at the same time, no that is relaxing.

That would be a challenge. All of mine were 6 years apart, so the older ones were in school during the day. Dinnertime in the evening was interesting. Trying to do homework and cook and nurse all at the same time really challenged my multitasking skills. That's what daddys are for, though. "Here, hun. You grill these burgers and go swing the six year old while I lie down and feed baby." We ate a lot of hamburgers and steaks. He can't really cook anything else. Very Happy

I like your nature descriptions, from firefalls to waterfalls. Heh, that's on topic isn't it?

i really liked this.
i thought it was true to the characters and even liked how malcolm still respected hoshi's intelligence and didnt lie about how he was there for security even though it was clear he was also there for other reasons.
