...you're a medical professional, minding your own business at work as you revise your office tuberculosis testing protocol. You know that the new blood test for TB is called a "T-Spot", but you type it like this:
T'Spot

Dis! Oh that's the most awesome one I've heard in ages! :tears: And you know what, it's perfectly reasonable!

Well, I suppose if Trip settles on Vulcan he would want to have a dog...

No no silly, it IS T-Spot. It's like G-Spot for Vulcans.

...you see an interview with Michael Rapino in the Financial Times and immediately skims through it to see if there is any mention of Jolene or the baby. Alas, it wasn't... :(

...you see a billboard with some blinged-out rapper on it that reads, "Have a trill summer, Houston," and you ask your husband what rappers have to do with Trek. (I still don't know what that billboard means.)

:tears: Are you sure it said "Trill" there wasn't any letter missing? Because I've never heard that one. And my cousin knew all that slang and taught me most of it.

I had a very brief and very weird dream this morning.

I was on the bridge of the Enterprise and our ship was approached by another ship. We hailed them and on screen appeared a chimpanzee speaking perfect english. All I remember his saying was "Darwin was wrong." :tears:

I think you must be sharing the dream that justTripn described a few weeks ago. Haven't been doing any mind-melds with her lately, have you?

I juat went back and looked. She DID have a dream about chimps. Weird. As the day went on I remembered more of my dream. Something about humanoids being seeded on different plantes amd that's why we're more alike than different. (I know that idea was floated in trek) Apparently the chimps came to be from some other evolutionary process, thus the "Darwin was wrong" statement.

i just saw a preview for the new Planet of the Apes movie. I am sure that has something to do with it.
