They OWN their own chairs? All I got to do was sit in one at a convention.

Very nice -- but isn't that a Kirk chair in a TNG bridge?

Linda, you look like a Captain!

How you know you're a trek fan. When you notice, it's Kirk's chair on a Next Generation bridge. Nice catch, Alelou.

Yes, Alelou, LOL, it is a Kirk chair on a TNG bridge, and the signature on the chair is Dominic's, so you can add the fact that ENT bums have also resided in the chair! This was at Starbase Indy convention in Indianapolis in 2006. Unfortunately this very fine fan run convention is now as extinct as a dinosaur. :(

Frankly, Linda, as compared with you Janeway should be thrown away.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Thanks, Asso! But all I'm likely to get is to be coxswain of a 26 foot power boat with two crewmen on Lake Michigan doing search and rescue with the Coast Guard Auxiliary. After being a crewman myself for twenty years in the auxiliary on other people's boats, now that I have my own boat, this is enough excitment for me.

You know you're a Trek fan when . . .you and your sister tarry long in the fabric store looking for fabric for Vulcan robes. And a pattern...
Crap! What am I gonna do about my stupid glasses?

1) You've been tho the Star Trek Museum/Ride/Restaurant TWICE and need to go again.
2) You drank some blue/green steaming drink at QUark's (the restaurant there) there and got so drunk you accidentally exposed and lost ALL your pictures from your first visit. (pre-digital camera visit) What WAS in that drink - a couple of sips and I was gone.
3)Your 20th Wedding Anniversary approaches and you're trying to talk your husband into going to the Convention in Vegas in August.

Among others......

Aikiweezie, You know you are a Star Trek fan when you are not the only one who has thought of (and done) a Star Trek convention for a wedding anniversary trip.

Ours was the Beam Me Up One Last Time Scotty convention. Which brings to mind: You know you are a Star Trek fan when your favorite photo from your wedding anniversary trip is not the one with your spouse....

OH MY GOD LINDA that picture is fabulous. Mr. Doohan looks so frail, but he' got that great smile on his face. What a cool thing for you to have met him.
