This should be titled "Why The Enterprise SHOULDN'T Be Able To Go Underwater In My Opinion"

We don't know how tough these starships are built or what stresses warp drive and torpedo hits put on the hull. There's always talk about a "structural integrity" field reinforcing the hull and (bringing us back to ENT) in Sleeping Dogs, both the NX-01 and a Klingon Bird Of Prey are running around in a gas giant under quite a bit of pressure.

The visual theme of first movie: Kirk desperately hanging off the edge of a cliff.

Judging from the trailer (I didn't want to be spoiled so I didn't see the 38 minutes), the visual theme of second movie: This time he's falling. Kirk and crew jumping/running off cliffs, ships falling out of the sky.

I hesitate to imagine how they could up the ante in a third movie.

Sorry, but this doesn't feel like the Trek I know at all. Had it been called something else it might have been a fun sci-fi action flick, but as it stands...
