It's from the Blue Warp Nacelles thread in the STXI forum. Someone started a thread to ask if a certain rumor was true (which it was), and they started out photoshopping what the original 1701 would look like with blue and purple warp nacelles, and it just kind of grew from there with them adding more and more as a way to make fun of the new movie and both bashers and gushers to the new movie. There's an animated gif for pretty much all the movies, and countless things that have been sombrero'd. :mrgreen: The E-D version has Adama on the deflector shooting laser beams with the "Adama glare". :lol:

Um I found this odd, I mean I can appreciate farce and satire with the best of them but... I didn't get it. Did someone get drunk at a frat party and that's what he or she remembered of the night? :?

Like so many Internet fads I think you just had to be there when it happened to fully appreciate it. We had the NOT. DEAD. thing after *the_abomination* that would seem a bit odd for outsiders.

Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.
