I'm shooting for the Las Vegas convention in 2009. 
Guess it is too early to look for reservation info online yet since the 2008 one has not happened yet. 
I don't suppose anyone going this year is also planning to go next year?

Elessar, I hope the job prospect starts to look promising for you! It'd be good to see you again. 
Distracted: Yeah, we'll definitely have to meet up at some point. I'm getting in on Thursday too, but I won't be doing con stuff. I'll likely be seeing some of the Vegas sites with my friends,one of whom isn't going to the con. I don't know where I'll be running around on Thursday. LOL.

Job's not lookin so hot. Interview went excellent - I was one of 8 applicants called in from 44, but they probably won't be able to start me until September. It's just not enough time to actually work the job and make money before leaving for OCS in October.

I wish I could be at the convention but couldn't get the time off. Everyone have a wonderful time. And please post reports and pictures for those of us who can't be there.Thanks

Yeah, I wished I could have gone, but there's no way I could float it on my current level of income. The hotel especially is taking a big bite out of my paycheck. Add food, gas, and a few of the other things I've been buying over the summer, and that leaves nothing for trips like this.
