Interesting convention in Europe

Postby Bookworm » Mon Feb 11, 2008 2:23 pm

I found an interesting convention that is held in Italy and Mira Furlan Delenn from Babylon 5 will be there, but I can't understand anything about what they say in the pages. Couldn't find an english page :?

Does someone understand what they say here?

I like Italy and have been there several times and I'm considering if I could go to that convention.

Bookworm, you could send a PM to Asso if he doesn't see this and answer it here. He is Italian and might translate the text for you if you ask him.
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

Curious. Did you notice that all the guests are female except for one Italian writer? I'd love to see Mira Furlan, but Italy's a bit far for me to travel.

Deepcon is a Convention scheduled every year in Fiuggi.
It's about the "Fantastic".
I don't know if such a name means something for some of you.
In Italy we call in this way everything is about SF, Fantasy, Horror, etc etc etc.
In Italy we are... passionate?... and maybe we also are dreamers, somewhat.
So, dreams are... welcome!
But, BE CAREFUL, we are also (yes, it's so!) lightly... cynical! :(
Anyway, I'm at your beck and call, Bookworm. :D

And, Distracted, I have no answer for you, but, believe me, I'm really a male!
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

:D

First question is marzo same as March?
I noticed that Fiuggi is in Lazio area, so does that mean it's somewhere near Rome?

I hope I can go this year, but if it's in March then it might be a problem. Well, I'll definitely go next year if they have as interesting guests as this year and the year before. I noticed that Connor was there last year.

Fiuggi seems to be a nice town. I've visited Rome, but I prefer the smaller towns and I haven't visited any of them near Rome and I'd like to some day.
Two of my favorite areas are the area near Firenze and the islands near Naples; Capri and Ischia.

I got to visit Italy once. It was lovely. My favorite memory is of the Uffizi. I have a weakness Botticelli. :) And Bronzino. :) And Della Robbia. :)

Bookworm: can you tell me where you got your avatar? She looks very familiar.

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

In the Avatar is the bookworm Sheska from "Fullmetal alchemist". Does that sound familiar?
