I'm not a frequent convention-goer, but this one is only an hour from my house. I'll be there... maybe even in costume if I can find the time to do enough crunches to do justice to MU T'Pol. Sounds like a low-key media based fan con. And apparently the Klingons will be there in force. Anybody live close enough to make this at such short notice? Anybody even want to try?

Cogito, isn't there a big ST convention in London with all five captains and also with CT and DK? Maybe that's something for you?

I promise pictures, but I can't promise that my abs will be ready for public perusal by the end of June. I'm working on it, but if I can't do it in time at least you'll get pictures of me standing next to Klingons. 8)

I'm not much of a tech person. so I'd probably end up looking like Barbie, but it's a thought.

On second thought, I think I'm just gonna stop worrying about looking like Jolene's ugly older sister and just go enjoy the con. Updates to follow.

The first table I stopped at in the dealer's room was manned by Michael DeMeritt, an Assistant Director on both Voyager and Enterprise. I ended up buying an original set copy of the script to the episode "Fallen Hero". See? :D

The primary guests at the con are Gowron and Martok (Klingons from DS9 and TNG). They're pretty silly. Real name of the actors are JG Hertzler and Robert O'Reilly. These guys.
