you're not alone at all Dis - I've already confessed to a straight-girl crush on Jolene. It would be really fun to sit down and talk to her - but that's the thing, I think I'd actually be able to 'talk' to her.

I had hoped to be intelligable with Connor - but that just didn't happen. Maybe after prolonged exposure I'd get over it. Yeah, I think that's a good idea. Definately need to spend more quality time with Connor.

I honestly don't know what I'd talk to them about, even if I had the opportunity to do so. :?

I actually had a completely normal like 5 minute conversation with Robbie Duncan McNeil (Tom Paris), complimenting him on an Enterprise episode he directed and finding out that he once worked at an amusement park five minutes from my house, when he was 16. So there is hope that one day I will be able to talk to Connor.

I sure hope you get to talk to him, JT. Unlike Shatner and Nimoy, it seems Connor is still approachable! 8)

What things that Jolene Blalock has done are you talking about, Distracted?

Hey, yeah, I am curious too. I don't know much about Jolene's life except she is my daughter's age! :|

She apparently just picked up and left home at about age 17 and moved to EUROPE (from California, I think?) and supported herself by modeling. I mean, what sort of experiences must she have had? What kind of street smarts and determination would a girl that age have to have to pull off something like that? I just want to ask things like that. I'm curious to know whether she regrets what she did or whether she thought it was a good move on her part.

Wow. I couldn't take care of myself at 17.

So a lot of those photos we see of her might be from when she was just 17? She had more guts at that age than I had! Of course, she had more 'assets' at that age than I had, LOL.

Not really! I've been searching in vain for her pre-fame modelling photos and found none. All the familiar ones have been taken from around or after the time she got the T'Pol role.
She's got an awfully nice bum!

I'm guessing the kind of modeling she used to do before Maxim found her was the kind that involved wearing strange clothing and walking out on a catwalk in front of people.

 I do have to say, from my experience in Cherry Hill, it looks like at least T'Sara and I didn't have any problem talking to Connor. In fact, I think we talked the poor guy's ears off. What a nice, approachable person!

I think I'd like to meet Jolene, as well. She seems, from her past comments, to have been really passionate about her role as T'Pol, and was not afraid to be opinionated. I think she'd be fascinating to speak with. (Granted, I'd also like to meet the other JB... Mr. Billingsley also seems like he'd be an interesting conversationalist)

Another interesting thing about Jolene. I seem to recall that she is a HUGE Star Trek fan, even before the Enterprise, and so was very opinionated about the direction the show took, and took these issues personally because of her loyalty to Star Trek.

The fact that Connor is such a normal kind of fellow just makes him that much more refreshing and interesting to me. He gets so embarrassed when he sees the Trip shirts. When he approached me and JT at Cherry Hill, he definitely blushed at our NOT.DEAD. attire. Very sweet and real. And he is most definitely approachable, yes! He seemed like he was having a good time talking with everyone. It still is very difficult to not be overcome by fits of silliness in his presence, though. Maybe we get overcome by too much happy emotion at once.
