I went last year. Oddly enough, I saw a bunch of people I used to see at our fan-run ScaperCons there... So it was nice to talk to some people I hadn't seen in 3 years' time (and others that I'd seen more recently, but it'd still been over a year).

Between going on the SeaTrek cruise at the end of June, and my mom's surgery (which is scheduled for July 13th), it's kind of a stretch that I would be able to make it to Shore Leave this year, though.

Though I did enjoy meeting boushh, tothebridge, CindyLouFett and Jinx last year when we were there.
Was this the army that invaded your country, ma'am? No, officer, they were taller than that...

How about this one? I'm not sure--get them to march up and down a bit...

So far so good!

Yesterday was the 1st day of Shoreleave.

I got there about 3pm...walked around and window shopped with some of the vendors.

I got to meet and have Dinner with Gwynyth Walsh who plays B'Etor (one of the Duras sisters) on TNG. That was very very cool. She enjoyed herself and said that she would be telling the the Klingon Lady Marbelade story along time. (At the Klingon feast we were at these group of woman got up dressed as Klingon ladys of the night and sang Voulez-vous coucher avec moi (ce soir).-Funny stuff!)

I than got to meet briefly Nichelle Nichols and Josepha Sherman and Susan Shwartz the later who signed a book for me.

Ok back to the convention.....I'll write more later!
