I cannot stress enough what a fantastic person Melissa is. She was a lot of fun to talk to, and face it, she looks BAD AS HELL!!! ("Bad" in the context of meaning "good".) Very sweet girl. She also attended alone, so it was fun to have someone to talk to.

I'm on the edge of my seat, here!!!! Really, I am.

Unfortunately, some adminly business has kept me away from pictures. I'm going through this in order...I'm still on Thursday...and I didn't see Connor until Sunday.

Now--tomorrow I'm taking my computer to work. I don't have internet access there, but I can at least finish sorting them, and they'll be prepped for upload to photobucket when I get home.

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to this! Things have gotten a little crazy of late. Thought I'd squeeze in an album before I had to go to work this morning.

I was supposed to get Sally Kellerman's autograph with the rest of the gold ticket holders on Thursday, but she had to leave before she got through the line because she was part of the entertainment at the Stratosphere party later that evening. So, we were told she'd be available at her table at the dealer's room and would do it at that time. So I didn't actually get her autograph until Friday. The room wasn't busy, so I was able to walk right up to her. She took a look at the picture, smiled, and said, "Boy, I was powerful, wasn't I?" I laughed and said yeah, and that she was my first real example of Girl Power. She laughed at that.She saw that I had the gold autograph ticket and said something like "I had to leave early yesterday for sound check," and I told her it was worth it, she was great on stage. She was VERY nice, and personalized the autograph for me.

P.S. Some of these keep coming out a little blurry. Unfortunately when I use the flash, the shutter stays open longer, so if the people move, or if I do something silly like breathe, that happens.

Damn I miss old fashioned 800 speed film sometimes...

How dare you to breath when you're taking pictures of Vegas 2010. I liked the pic's, but the story of the first power girl even more.

I did not see his panel because it was going on during something else I was watching. I did get his autograph as part of my admission ticket, though. Apparently he was running late to catch his flight home, so by the time they got to me, he was just coming down the line and signing things on his way out, so natch, there was no conversation.
