Cool that you are going! I have been wanting to go to this one for some time. This year, again, it does not look very good for me going, though I am not totally ruling it out yet. But now I have a reliable vehicle, it might be possible to drive out there.

Great news Aquarious. I've been wanting to go to this convention for a long time. the closest I got to go was when i was Vegas in 2008 a week before when Connor and Jolene were going to be there. I wish I could've stayed for another week.I'd love to have seen them both onstage that would have been so neat to have been there that weekend.At Least I got to see the StarTrek experience go on the rides and the behind scenes tour before it was shut down at the Hilton.

LOL I don't know! We'll see how it goes. If I can charm him at the Q&A or some other opportunity first, I might go for it--you know, so it doesn't come off all creepy-scary like.

JT and I met up in boring ole Rolla, MO on her return journey from Texas to Pittsburgh. Who'd a thought my boring old college town of 15,000 people would sit on one of the busiest transcontinental interstates (I-44) between Pittsburgh and Texas!

So we got to talking about Cons and meetups.... a few of us have made it to different ones and it's always been A BLAST.

What if we made it official this year? a Triaxian Silk Con? How many of us could make it? I could. I bet JT could. Let me start with the list of regulars I've seen:

Sorry, Elessar. No Vegas for us this year, or probably ever again. Been there. Done that. Don't gamble. And Star Trek: The Experience is shut down so I'm really not motivated to go back. Besides, I'm gonna be using up all my annual leave to go to New Zealand next month, so no more vacations after June until 2011 or later.

BTW...any Kiwis on TriS? It's a small country. Maybe we could meet up in Hobbiton.

I'm working on it! The guest list for the Chicago is very disappointing. There are only 13 celebrities so far - Jeffrey Combs and Leonard Nimoy are among them. I'd LOVE to do Vegas but I'm not sure we can swing it financially. My husband LOVES Vegas though..........
