Probably the most memorable part of that whole thing for ME was that once it was called off, the actors who had either just arrived or were about to arrive were no longer obligated to sign any autographs or do anything really, but they went to teh autograph room (right after the cancellation announcement) and signed lots of stuff anyway. Many of them were selling their own, but I think several just gave stuff away photos and signatures. What was so memorable was... we're in there milling around... running into some fellow HoT'ers... And Robert Reilly and JG Hertzler (I think it was Gowron and Martok... can't remember for certain...) walk in, having just spent god knows how long getting into makeup, and shout something along the lines of, "HONOR - AND - GLORY, ALWAYS!" to a resounding hail of "Qa'PLAH!" replies

That. Is. AWESOME.

I swear, Star Trek - from the writers to the actors to the fans - is just the freakin' best.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it was General Martok and Gowron because JG Hertzler has such a recognizable Klingon voice, that's what I remember

Looking back now, I can appreciate how crazy it was that it was cancelled and yet no one even swore or stormed out. Us highbrow trekkies curtailed our righteous rage and we all (trekkies AND actors) behaved in a very Starfleet fashion. It was most enjoyable! (Also hangin' with my peeps elessar and Distracted)
