And the winners are...

Yep, it's that time of year again, and I've been at Media West all weekend. While my zine got a nomination for best multifandom zine, we didn't win (not surprising; it was our premiere issue and we were going up against well-established competition), though I did win a FanQ for my Buffy story, "A Spike Through the Heart." Five other contributing authors also earned recognition for their stories.

All in all, a good weekend.

I will now. The stuff that was in the zine, we were keeping it offline to create a degree of exclusivity--people don't usually buy zines if they can find it for free on the net. The only reason we made the exception for my Enterprise fics was because we needed the material, and the odds that people here at the con were TriSers was pretty slim...and we made it all better by giving them the smuttiest piece of artwork in the zine.

Sound like the visit to the con was a great success! Good job.

Unfortunately I need to wait a year before posting the smutty art, because that's the only "exclusive" we have on those particular stories. That volume of the zine just debuted this weekend, and we may get more mail orders throughout the year, plus my partners may take it to another con in a couple of months and sell any leftover copies.
