December '08 Word Prompt

First, I want to thank everyone who contributed a piece for November's "Wrecked" prompt. You guys produced some really great stories!

So most of you know how this goes, but as usual I'll explain it again for the benefit of those who just tuned in:

I give you a one-word-prompt, and you write a story inspired by that word. You do not literally have to include the word in your piece, just go wherever the word takes you. There is no minimum or maximum length. It can be any genre you want. As long as it's about Trip and/or T'Pol, we're good. 8) You may post your story to this thread or submit it through regular channels for archiving by your Friendly Neighborhood Admins.

There is also no real time limit; the prompts change every month but if you see a past prompt that looks interesting, go for it. Not like we're gonna cry about getting MORE fic or anything... :wink:

Well, once again, I couldn't help myself. I just submitted a story for the December word prompt 'whisper'. Hope you enjoy. Also, again I would like to thank all the kind people that read and comment on my stories. You sure have welcomed this 'new kid'.

Like I said, I know it's a busy month. I'm struggling to get my piece done and Asso's beta'd.

But if anyone out there gets some ideas/inspiration, remember, I'm sure people will still read it after December 31. These prompts aren't perishable--they don't have a limited shelf life. :wink:
