No comment on what I noted about T'Pol's posture? Has no one else seen it. In the one group photo where Archer is sitting, T'POl to his right she has that posture. It is very noticeable. I have seen other photos with that same bckward arch to her spine.

Cogito, no, I mean as she stands normaly. That group photo at the bottom of the Bridge section. She is standing with no need to push her chest out. As I said look at that Cap where she is standing naked in front of Trip.There is a pronounced inward bend to her spine not the normal outward bend of most people or the straight spine of many. It is very deep. It would cause her to have that backward look. You interpret as T'Pol pushhing her boobs forwad but I see it as her natural stance.

Thanks for giving me an excuse to letch at Jolene again. But I don't see what you're describing as unusual. For a normal healthy person standing upright, the spine is 'S' shaped - concave at the bottom, convex at the top. The concave part at the bottom would be more pronounced when Jolene has got her shoulders back and her chest out, as she has in lots of publicity photos.

Cogito, that shot of her naked in front of Trip was not a publicity photo her back was still that way. In kotik series go down to nuumber nine which is captioned Egoism. T'Pol is on the rigt of the photo. she is bent bck and her boobs sure aren't pushed out in fact they look a litle smaler than usual. But the posture is the same as I have been pointing out. Certanly you can see in the nude shot the deep inward bend of her spine. It is almost an inch or more deep. It is NOT at the bottom. It is in the middle of the spine which should be a bit outward.

Anyway, I am wondering how to put this in to a story.

Well, SB, even if you're right and Jolene does have a mild scoliosis (which I disagree with because I think the curvature you're seeing is postural), I fail to see how that could be pertinent to a story. Many people have minor spinal curvatures that they are born with. Some are more pronounced than others. The curvature tends to get worse in childhood during the growth spurt and then stabilize as they become adults. I don't think it's anything anyone would want to call attention to, and in Jolene's case I really think it's just her posture in the photos you're looking at. Minor scoliotic curvatures don't cause pain or disability. They're mainly a cosmetic issue because clothes may fit a bit differently. Somehow, though, I seriously doubt that Ms. Blalock could have noticable scoliosis and still make it as a fashion model.

Some claim that that particular shot is a body double. I'm uncertain if that fact has been resolved or not.

Dis, you could be right. But it is obvious. In the nude shot there is a deep depresssion in the middle of her back that is at least an inch or more deep. In the photo I cited she was not posing for publicity so much as standing nearby. Still compared to the others her posture is certainly different.

As far as modeling, I guess a good Air brush could take care of what little would be there if she held herself right.

KTR, I read an interview of Connor's. He said that what he looked at was a body double taped in strategic places but what the viewers saw was Jolene. Got to go along with that. I once saw that scene a long time ago where Jolene turned her head to the left and you could see it was Jolene. Wonder if they shot that scene more than once.
