OK, this is no good, with such a short notice, but I need a beta for my Holyday Fic Exchange entry. I should have finished it earlier but a lot of things happened, one of them being that I thought I had lost it entirely. I just lost a part of it and had to rewrite it

About the story itself, obviously I can't say much, but it's a one-shot of 15 pages (and I can't split it up since it's all the same scene), 4866 words, and in theory it's a funny story, with a little of fluff (which makes me shudder.)

LOL. Yep. Don't we all? But I do have a nice long break. I have to do some serious class prep during it, but at least I enjoy that.

The tricky part is that my section of Writing About Literature was opened late as an overflow addition, and only has 3 students registered so far. However, community college kids are notorious for procrastinating about such things. Of course, even the ones who sign up are notorious for not getting their bills paid and being dropped. And a lot of them may not have realized they flunked 101 yet and can't move on. So .... I may not know until one WEEK before class begins if there's any point prepping for it.

Its been approx 2 weeks since I inquired for a beta for ch 1 for my new story and still no reply yet. I'm not in any hurry, but if I could get a reply in the next 2 weeks that would be lovely .
